DRAWING STREAK
On January 1st, 2022, I started what became my longest project so far: drawing every single day.
At first, I didn’t even realize I was starting a streak. About ten days in, while eating dinner with my sister, I suddenly panicked: “Wait, it’s 6 PM and I haven’t drawn anything yet?!”. From then on, I committed fully.
It’s funny, I already drew a ton before this, but making it official changed everything. Every single drawing is done the same day—no stockpiling, no cheating. It’s been exhausting, but I’m proud of keeping it alive.
Here are some highlights from the streak so far:
Day 1: My very first post. I thought it was amazing at the time, but looking back it’s full of mistakes. Still, it was the spark that started it all.
Day 365: One year anniversary. I compiled every drawing into a single piece—over 365 total. One of them (bottom right) is missing forever, but the pink still makes me smile.
Day 576: My most liked drawing ever. I thought it wouldn’t even break 1K likes. By the time I got on the bus home, it had already passed 9K.
Day 730: Two year anniversary. This year was rougher, but my art grew stronger because of it. Seeing my own ups and downs reflected in the drawings hits hard.
Day 771: My second most viral drawing—though it blew up more on TikTok and random meme compilations than my own account. People still send me links to it being reposted. Maybe one day someone will tattoo it. (Hopefully not.)
This page will keep growing as I update it with new milestones and projects.
